Our Story

Babykakesink! was created by the inspiration of my two daughters, Emma Kerri and Avery Nicole.  I have always loved to create and make things ever since I was little myself.  Upon the arrival of my first daughter, Emma, I was ever so blessed to stay home and give up a 10 year business career.  Twenty-one months later we were ecstatic with the arrival of our second daughter, Avery.

Having two girls it only seemed natural to start sewing clothes and making their hair bows.  Most came natural since I grew up with a very talented mother that did the same.  Finding unique, cute, and hip items for the girls and myself was not always easy.  It started as a dream in my heart and through the happiness I found when giving my creations as gifts for birthdays, christenings, and baby showers.

Two years later I decided to use my talent in a larger way.  So on faith I stepped out and launched Babykakesink!  The name was easy. I had called my two girls “Baby Kakes” since birth and the name stuck.  I hope you enjoy our creations as much as the time we love putting into them.
